My top three travel essentials

A huge part of my life is spent travelling. I’m never in one place for more than two months. Some may say this is a bad thing, but to me, it makes life fun! Because I travel so much, I feel like I’m the best person to come to for advice on items that are essential for travelling so here are my top three must have travel items.

1: a blanket hoodie

You will never see me at an airport without my trusty blanket hoodie. Even when I’m travelling to a hot country, I always make sure to bring my blanket hoodie along with me. Why might you ask? Because planes are always super cold. those flimsy blankets that they hand out are never enough and I find myself always feeling cold. You can find an inexpensive blanket hoodie easily on amazon. I promise they’re worth your while.

2: a universal adapter

I think people always remember to bring a portable charger with them but the most underrated electronic travel essential is none other than a universal adapter. Living in the UK, our plug is different from the rest of the world which if you ask me is incredibly annoying. However, carrying around a universal adapter makes travelling the world just a little easier and saves you having to buy plugs whenever you travel.

3: pads and tampons

This one is geared towards my female readers. I know it may seem odd to carry pads and tampons with you but I had to learn why these are important things to carry with you the hard way. I’m well aware that other countries also sell pads and tampons but they may not be ones that you’re comfortable using. For example, in the UK most of our tampons have plastic inserters, however when I travelled to Thailand I struggled to find tampons and the ones I did find did not have inserters and were essentially just a rolled piece of cloth. So carrying pads and tampons I’m accustomed to makes travelling on my period easy and stress free.

There you have it, my top three essentials to travel with ease!
